National gun-control money is officially in our races. Everytown for Gun Safety announced a $3 million ad campaign this week aimed at flipping legislative control in Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Arizona. Here, it’s running two ads against Republicans in North Phoenix districts, hitting them for opposing background checks, an assault rifle ban and red flag laws. One ad targets Sen. Shawnna Bolick, and another goes after Reps. Rivero and Fink. Gun safety advocates launch ad campaign to flip Arizona legislature +2
Why it matters: whoever controls the Legislature decides whether bills like SB 1012 (restaurant carry) or SB 1069 (suppressors) ever reach a governor’s desk again.
Anyone in those districts seeing these ads yet? Do outside-money campaigns like this help or backfire here?
