HB 1025: the “Long Rifle of Early Ohio” as the official state firearm?

A bill introduced October 13 would make the Long Rifle of Early Ohio the official state firearm.

Symbolic, sure, but would you support it? And if Ohio gets a state firearm, what should it be?

As an Ohioan, that is okay by me. Certainly better than bestowing the honor on Hi Point Firearms, who does most of its production in our state.

It should be the M2 50 cal built by Ohio Ordinance company.
