Canik MC9 Prime vs Prime Radian – What's Different?

The Canik METE MC9 Prime and Prime Radian share the same basic platform, but the Radian version adds a factory performance package rather than simply being another color or trim level.

The major difference is the Radian Weapons RAMJET and AFTERBURNER barrel and compensator system. The Prime Radian also adds Radian's aluminum BACKSTRAP + MAGWELL.

Both retain features associated with the MC9 Prime platform, including the flat-faced aluminum trigger, optics-ready slide and Night Fision tritium sights.

The result is essentially an MC9 Prime configured from the factory with the Radian upgrades that would normally be associated with a customized carry pistol.

That also creates an interesting choice for anyone looking at the MC9 family: buy the standard Prime and keep the simpler configuration, or move to the Prime Radian and get the compensated Radian setup already installed.

With searches for the Canik MC9 Prime Radian increasing, it will be interesting to see which version ends up becoming the more popular configuration.
