Hobbs vs. Biggs: what the governor’s race means for gun bills

Andy Biggs won the GOP primary with over 70% of the vote and now faces Gov. Hobbs in the state’s top race. For gun owners, the biggest difference is the veto pen. Hobbs has blocked much of the Republican agenda in the Legislature through vetoes, and in June alone she vetoed four gun bills: SB 1012, SB 1053, SB 1068 and SB 1069. kvoaazfamily

Her supporters see those vetoes as protecting business owners and campuses. Her critics see a governor who’ll block every pro-2A bill for four more years. Early voting started October 7, so this is decision time. azbio

Where do you think gun policy ranks among the issues deciding this race?
